U11 Soccer Update : ***Lakeland Soccer will be determining final plans for the 2018 outdoor season soon but here are some possibilities: ➢ No league play ➢ Possible weekend tournaments in various locations within Lakeland for both male and female teams ➢ No Provincials at this level or Camrose Night Classic ➢ Possible U11 Rural Challenge ***Playdown in a tournament format with winner representing Lakeland at the U11 Rural Challenge ***Need to hear from other districts about interest in a Rural Challenge ***VSA supported the possibility of numerous weekend tournaments and the U11 Rural Challenge with playdown format to represent Lakeland ➢ Playdown format would be similar to Lakeland cup with top team from Lakeland going to Rural Challenge; both male and female teams ➢ Rural Challenge would be similar to a ‘provincial’ level tournament Stay Tuned!
